Person of interest (patsy) in killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO in custody

Is there any actual evidence for the claim of his testifying?
It's easy to make claims, but evidence is what matters.

Not anywhere near the scene of the shooting. An extensive search
found no gun. 9 mm shell casings, consistent with what is believed to
be the gun used, were found.
Luigi had a 9 mm gun on his person when arrested. In and of
itself, this isn't proof of his being the killer, but it does do
anything to eliminate him as a suspect.

Upon what do you base this claim? As of the time I write this,
I've seen nothing to suggest he planned out any serious escape. He did
have a plan to leave the immediate area, but that appears to be the
extent.

It was quite a bit longer and was published in three major newspapers at
the time in a deal that he would turn himself in in exchange for the
publicity. That was when newspapers like the Washington Post and New
York Times were still highly respected, unlike today.

I take it you do think he should have gone to BK.

I would think he would have gone to a health food sort of place, given
that he shot the CEO of United Health Care for the reasons he claimed,
not a fast food restaurant that is known for its unhealthy food.

I've heard on one talk radio program that Thompson was going to testify
against Nancy Pelosi in a conflict of interest hearing on insider
trading by Pelosi and her husband. The implication is, if the story is
true, that he was shot to prevent him from testifying against Pelosi and
her husband.
