While it is true that Justice Anthony Kennedy was a disappointment
to conservatives, the observation misses the point. Kennedy did not
owe conservatives decisions that they liked.
But he did owe us all competent decisions and he failed to do that by
trying to be a fence sitter when in fact the logic dictated that he NOT
sit the fence but he impishly took the Liberals feelings as being a
reason to side with the LEFT so that he would be in the center rather
than correct and logical.

Being in the center is NOT being correct, it's a concision that
undermined logic and reality and being correct.

Being in the center doesn't achieve greatness it's a sign of mediocrity...

God forbid any Supreme Court Justice from using reason and logic,
or trying to reach a decision based on facts and the Constitution!
The Supreme Court doesn't get easy cases, it gets cases that could
go either way. It takes keen minds to reach the best possible
decision, especially when there may be no perfect decision. He
wasn't perfect, but he was a Justice that did his best to reach the
correct decisions. You may disagree with his decisions, but unlike
Trump's appointments, he at least does his level best, and tried not
to arrive at "knee jerk" decisions. He'll be missed. Trump won't
be missed when he's finally gone.
